FC Ordabasy 0(1) – 0(0) Jogodina FC

Uganda Cranes skipper Andrew Mwesigwa has this evening helped his Kazakhstan side FC Ordabasy to advance to the second round of the Europa league after holding Serbian side Jogodina FC to a barren draw in the return leg. Ordabasy FC won the first leg 1-0 in Serbia and just needed a draw of any margin to advance to the second round.

Mwesigwa who played the entire game put up a brilliant performance that ensured his club kept a clean sheet to progress. After qualifying for the second round, FC Ordabasy will now play Rosenbeg of Norway with the first leg on the 19th July before the second leg on the 26th of July barely a week between the two ties. The winner over two legs will progress to the the third round of Europe’s second tier club competition and then play offs before joining the group stages.Spanish side, Atletico Madrid are the title holders
