Bunamwaya SC striker Tony Odur is on the verge of completing a move to Lugogo based side KCC FC.
According to reliable sources, the former Express FC forward is set to put pen to paper today in a deal that will see him contracted with the City side until 2014.
Both the player and the club have been in negotiations ever since the closure of last season on a possible transfer after his contract with Bunamwaya SC expired six months ago.
Odur joined the Wakiso based side from Express in 2007 and during his five year spell at the club; he has managed to help the club to a league title in 2009/10 and a runners up medal in the Bell Uganda Cup last season.
Impeccable sources from Bunamwaya indicate that the club was willing to renew the temperamental striker’s contract but have no problem with him if he decides to leave the club.
“It’s surprising if he has decided not to renew his contract but as far as I know, the club is willing to offer him a new contract and everything was set for tomorrow (Tuesday)”, an official from Bunamwaya who preferred anonymity told Kawowo sports.
However, the forward confirmed to Kawowo.com that by the end of today, he will be a KCC FC player.
“I hope to accomplish the transfer to KCC FC today”, Odur said.
As usual, Kawowo sports will be there to update you on the developments.
