Uganda’s U-20 side started residential training at Kavumba Recreation grounds in Wakiso ahead of their first encounter with Ghana’s Black Satellites in the qualifying campaign to the 2013 Africa Youth Championship. Coach Paul Nkata cut the 25-man side to 20 on whom he harbours high hopes.
Nkata, whose boys whipped Mozambique over two legs in the first round says his team should remain focused as they are close to their destination. They entertain the West African side at Nakivubo stadium next Saturday with a second leg in Accra due August 10-12.
