
Bell Uganda Super League midfielder of the season 2011/12 William Luwagga Kizito has this afternoon left for professional trials in Portugal with second division side Leixoes FC.
The Bunamwaya SC midfielder was joined by Yasin Muyimba (20), an attacking midfield who featured for Rwanda’s giant side Mukura FC on the plane to Portugal.
The duo is expected to touch down in Porto – Portugal tomorrow and will start their trials on Monday 23rd of August till the 5th of September.
The deal is engineered by the CEO of Jodana Sports Managament Daniel Ntale in collaboration with FIFA agent Tiago Caristo, the CEO of reknowed TGC Global Sports Management Company.
Luwagga’s contract with the 2009 league champions and last season’s runners up Bunamwaya SC expired at the end of the last year and has been linked to SC Villa since the closure of the season. In case the duo passes trials, they will become the first Ugandans to play in Portugal.
Meanwhile, Jodana Sports Management is the company that secured deals for Hakim Ssekumba (Sofapaka) and Allan Katerega (Tusker FC)
