The side defeated minnows Shree Kutch Levar Patel Samaj (SKLPS) by 82 runs at the lakeside oval in Entebbe on Sunday.
On winning the toss, SKLPS decided to field. Ramesh Mepani (3/10) and Lalji Gondalia (3/26) shared six wickets Patidar were all out for 204.
Roger Mukasa stroked a 60-odd and Nandi Kishore added 38.
SKLPS’s Kerai Meghji (33) not out and Kerai Vekaria (22) did all they could but it could not turn their side’s fortunes as they collapsed at 122. Charles Waiswa (4/39) and Kishore (3/29) were remarkable on the day. Samaj remain third on 38 points.
