Charity's title bid starts in Jinja

T20 MEHTA PREMIER LEAGUE

Charity vs. JACC – Jinja

Seven weeks back, Charity Trust Fund cricket club retained the national women’s 50-over cricket league title after dispatching star studded Wanderers by eight wickets at Lugogo Oval. Having failed to bowl off last weekend due to unavoidable reasons, Charity, the reigning T20 champions, start the inaugural Mehta Premier League against JACC at Jinja SS oval today.

The side’s skipper Flavia Laker is confident her side will work ways out to finish the season on a double. “We shall edge out all our opponents,” she said. And about today’s double header, Laker vaunts only victory. “I know it is a hard place to visit but my team has a lot of belief”
