Former Express FC and Victors FC forward Daniel “Mzee” Sserunkuma has hinted at switching allegiance from Uganda to Kenya. The Gor Mahia FC striker said this while speaking to supersport.com.

“I have always wanted to play for Uganda Cranes but am now feeling frustrated as no one is considering me. I love Kenya and it’s like my second home and cannot rule out playing for Harambee Stars which is a

team with great potential.”

“I am currently weighing my options and if am not called up for Cranes then I feel it will be time to jump ship and offer my services to Kenya where I can join my friend Rama Salim and together we can help Stars reach greater heights,” Sserunkuma told SuperSport.com.

However, the FKF has never hinted at considering Sserunkuma for Harambee Stars duty and it remains to be seen whether his utterances will make them think about it.

The diminutive striker is currently enjoying a rich vein of form in the Kenyan Premier League and has so far netted 8 league goals and has five assists to his name.

His partnership with Kenyan international Rama Salim at Gor Mahia is touted as one of the hottest in the KPL at the moment with the duo scoring 17 goals between them this season.
