
Bunamwaya are set to unveil Nigerian Coach Ambrose “Dulu” Chikuma as the new coach replacing Edward Golola at the club’s helm. The former Julius Berger coach had stints with giants Inyawuyawu FC as assistant coach.
He will however commence duties at the club officially on Monday, when players regroup for training ahead of the 2012/2013 season. Former head coach Edward Golola and his technical team that includes the likes assistant Richard Wasswa and goal keeping coach Edris Kasozi have been left to manage the club’s academy.
Only team physio John Ssekumba will be part of the new technical team that will also be officially announced today, at a ceremony dubbed as the “Mega Launch”. Club patron and FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa will preside as the chief guest in a ceremony that will also be used to unveil the club’s new signings.
The 2009 league champions have so far signed three players in this primary window, Jackson Kibirige from Police, Patrick Ssembuya from Victors FC plus former midfielder Mike Mutyaba who rejoined for the club on a six month deal.
