
Uganda’s Copa Coca Cola team that will be travelling to South Africa tomorrow for a International camp in Pretoria,South Africa will get the opportunity of being coached by English premier league giants Chelsea FC’s foundation coaches.
The team that will be led by Coca-Cola’s promotions manager Kennedy Mutenyo, was flagged off by the managing director Norton Kingwill of the leading beverage company at their Namanve plant on Jinja road.
The team will be captained by Daniel Ojara others on the team include Derick Ssekito,Joseph Erau,Ashraf Mugume,Jacta Jelly,Hassan Fatibu,Godfrey Mbazira,Bryan Mayanja,Bryan Kakaire,Moses Kibirige and Isaac Ochuchi.
Chelsea FC Foundation coaches will form part of a special coaching team that will oversee the training of 140 players from 15 countries at the Copa Coca-Cola international camp in Pretoria,South Africa scheduled to run between August 28-September 8.
Countries taking part in this year’s international camp include Kenya,Uganda,Tanzania,Zimbabwe, Zambia
Malawi,Mozambique,Swaziland,Lesotho,Rwanda,Burundi,Congo,DR Congo,Mauritius and Nigeria.
Each year, Copa Coca-Cola gives hundreds of budding stars an opportunity to refine their skills through inter-country competitions and exposure to world-class football.
