Stjarnan 1-1 IBV
Ugandan goal keeper Abel Dhaira and Tonny Mawejje, both with Iceland Division 1 football side IBV recovered from last week’s 1-0 loss to Keflavik and restored pride with 1-all draw with Stjarnan in the Úrvalsdeild League on Sunday.
At the Samsung völlurinn stadium, IBV, the visitors were already down in just 18 minutes after Alexander Scholz’s goal.
It needed IBV to play over 50 minutes and recovered with nine minutes of play left through Arnór Ólafsson. IBV were left on third position with 27 points from 16 outings on the 12-man log.
Their next game will be against table leaders FH on Thursday.
