Emmanuel Kiwalabye is no longer the manager of National Kickboxing Champion Titus Tugume. Titus broke the news to Kawowo sports media on Tuesday afternoon after a training session. The news comes after it was revealed that Tugume has up date not been paid in full the amount of money agreed upon with Sylvia Awori promotions, for his National Title fight against Malik Kaliisa.
The decision to sack his manager came after Tugume believed manager Emmanuel Kiwalabye acted reluctant on his issues concerning the last match with Maliki, failure to call any meetings with him after the fight and serious lack of coordination between the two parties. Tugume also sighted lack of proper planning from his manager and failure to acquire fights for him. Mr. Kiwalabye linked up with Titus a year ago when he started his professional kick boxing but this has short leaved.
Despite a successful fights Titus says that his manager doesn’t know how he trains, what it takes for him to carry on with the training and above all lack of knowledge on the on going. “I am currently conducting training skills with Koreans in Luzira and the only thing he cares about is to see me keep winning but he even does not know about this” said a humble but quite moody Tugume. Despite sacking the manager, Titus is optimistic of an inter-continental fight with Ukraine kick boxer whom he is meant to reveal in a couple of weeks. Asked about whether he had an eminent replacement, Tugume was reluctant to say so, though he was sure, he had line up some one before his upcoming fights.
