Wanderers picked six vital points from their double header against Charity Trust Fund last weekend and will leave nothing at chance when they play Gayaza High in two T20 Mehta Premier League games at Lugogo Oval today.
“We have a lot of determination and we want to keep on winning,” Wanderers’ skipper Mary Nanderenga said. “We’ll leave nothing at chance for them since cricket is a funny game.”Gayaza are yet to pick a point and lie bottom while Wanderers have amassed 16 points.
In the other game, table leaders Tornado (30) hope to maintain their stranglehold when they travel to play JACC in Jinja. It was not an easy fixture for Consy Aweko and teammates during the women’s 50-over league tiers early this year.
“It’s a hard place to return with good results but we’ll do our best to keep atop the log” Aweko, the Tornado skipper said.
