golola moses

On the December 9 last year, Hungarian kick boxer Andreas Nagy beat Moses Golola hands down in a one-sided match at Hotel Africana. From then on, Golola has struggled to make a surreal comeback to the top of the sport in the country.

Experience is the best teacher; perhaps you’ve heard that saying somewhere. The lessons Golola learnt on that night will be of great use when fellow countryman Ronald Mugula takes on Nagy at Kyadondo Rugby Club today.

“He must be very conscious,” Golola cautioned Mugula. “Nagy poises a strong kick and Mugula must be aware,” he added. “I advise him (Mugula) to punch Nagy’s jaws if he wants to win.”

Nagy arrived in Kampala on Tuesday and he expects a better contest on the night. “Last time, I fought someone who did not know the rules but I hope Ronald (Mugula) is well aware,” Nagy said.

Meanwhile Mugula is all pumped up but relaxed ahead of the world super middle weight title fight. “I am ready to prove my worth that I am not a European champion by mistake.”
