It was a perfect tune up strategy for Rono and his Ndejje compatriots, who are warming up for the prestigious MTN Marathon due later this month. Ndejje University’s Thomas Rono took only 27 minutes to win the 10 km Entebbe Director’s race in Entebbe on Sunday.

“This race is great for my endurance. Its a perfect warm up for the MTN Marathon”, remarked the race victor, Rono, who will also participate in the forthcoming MTN race. The race co-ordinator,Richard Mudde stresses; proceeds from the race will be channelled towards building a classroom block at St.Luke orphanage school in Nkumba.

The event was spönsored by Indo Sports Center, Rebro health club,Uganda Police, Entebbe Red Cross and Entebbe Hospital.
