A carnivore atmosphere was organised by Kweli Productions team in partnership with local body Uganda Rugby Union (URU) for Friday’s One Night Stand Rugby night tournament:
All is ready and set at the Legends. Fans and a few participating players are anxious to watch rugby under floodlights for the first time.
“I am coming very very hard, keep out of the way.” a fan posted on social network about the event. Recent blogs and tweets have carried the hash tag #OneNytStand.
Speaking to one of the players going to take part, he is more than ready to have thrilling action. “After having two sessions, i think we have prepared well,” said Justin Kimono.
The Kobs’ player will lead one of the 12 sides on the night as they battle to take the Shs.1.5m cash prize. Kimono’s team is in Group D with Adnan Mutebi and Francis Odonga. Each team is meant to have two ladies with one on pitch throught.
Lots of musicians including Young Mulo and Rema are lined up to perform.
