Bulemeezi 1-0 Buweekula
Ssentamu Yunus’ 60th minute strike helped Bulemeezi record a remarkable 1-0 victory in the 2012 Masaza football tourney over Buweekula at Nakivubo on Saturday. Kabaka Mutebi II handed over the shield to Bulemeezi captain, Ssonko Ronald before an estatic Baganda loyalists.
“Am overwhelmed for thìs landmark achievement. We have rectified and perfectly revenged our last year’s loss against Buluri”, remarked a teary captain Ssonko, reflecting of Bulemeezi’s loss in last year’s final to Buluri.
In the netball version of the Masaza Cup, Kooki dethroned last year’s winners, Busiro.
