A 70-0 loss to reigning champions MTN Heathens subjected new comers Summerkamp to a tough reception in the Nile Special Rugby Premier League last Friday.

And skipper David Otwi insists it will not be the same sad story all season throughout. That challenge starts on Friday when they play last season’s runners-up DMark Kobs at the Legends Bar – former Kampala Rugby Club.

As Summerkamp seek their first points, Kobs will be out to better their first match performance. They unconvincingly beat Makerere Impis 49-10. Their start was so slow with just a try in the first half.

Kobs play their match a day before rivals Heathens visit Impis at the grave yard. “We are playing each game like its a final,” Joseph Aredo, who meets his brother Erasmus Aredo on the Summerkamp end, said.

“We started slowly because we were not training hence little preparation.” And as the season goes by, you reckon a much better performance as they seek to end the Yellow Machine’s four-year reign at the helm of this Super Eight tournament.
