“I am going to inflate this guy from Tanzania and he is not going to last beyond round three”, Ugandan heavyweight Kennedy “Mr Bad News” Odeke said at the launch of his fight yesterday at Hotel Sojovalo on Rubaga road ahead of his fight with Ashraf Sulaiman at Lugogo on Friday. “You don’t bring this weight too me and think you will win.”
The towering heavyweight is looking for his second win over his Tanzanian opponent Ahraf Sulaiman tomorrow at the MTN Lugogo Arena. This will be Uganda Boxing Union’s third boxing show and will feature several support fights.
“I haven’t travelled all the way from Tanzania to lose this fight,” Sulaiman shot back. “He is talking alot of nonsense and he will regret his words once the fight gets rolling.”
This will be Odeke’s second fight under his promoters Big Strikers International he goes into this fight with a record of 1 win and 1 knockout while Sulaiman is 3 wins 4 loses 2 draws and 2 KOs.
On the same card will be four support fights that include a middleweight contest between Robert “The Doctor” Kamya taking on Kenya’s Mark Oliech others are Juma Waiswa taking on Herbert Mugalula,Robert Mudawa taking on Juma Kiggundu all in middleweight contests. In a flyweight contest Atenyi Nzeire takes on Isaac Ntege.
