WKF welterweight title fight

Sharif Bukenya (Uganda) v Jarkko Jussila (Finland)

As the fight promoter, Eddie Gombya introduced Finnland’s Jarkko Jussila and Uganda’s Sharif “The General” during the last press conference at the Freedom City bout venue, the two fighters pipped at each other with an enviable eye before a fully packed press house.

The weighing scale stood intact in between the two fighters vying for vacant intercontinental Welterweight Title and a prestigious belt at stake that the promoter hoisted aloof higher. During the measuring process, the duo returned the same weight of 62.1kg’s apiece.

The weigh-in ceremony was presided over by the  World Kickboxing Federation Executive Director Friedrich Exenberger, who will also supervise this 10 round full contact fight.

Uganda’s new kick boxing sensation, Sharif “The General ” Bukenya had earlier in the week vowed to finish up the Finnish opponent, Jarkko Jussila by the 5th round, something he aserted at the last press conference. “Today, i will do less talking, i am awaiting the fight tomorow”, Bogere, who has won all his last 5 fights warned.
Bukenya’s counterpart, Jarkko, was calmer and he promised a gallant fight. “I do my best always when am in the ring”, remarked the world’s number 10 who hails from Vassa in Finland. Jarkko, has 13 wins and 3 losses.
