21 ladies have been summoned to the National women rugby team. The Lady Cranes to start trainning at Kyadondo Rugby grounds, Kampala in preparation for the CAR 7’s women tournament due in Tunisia on April 19th and 20th.
2012 USPA player of the year, Brenda Kayiyi is optimistic the summoned squad will put up a great display in Tunisia. ” We just have to work hard and believe in ourselves”, Brenda, who features for Black Panthers told Kawowo Sports.
Anthony Kinene is the head coach, and will be assisted by Michael Wandera, who is also the team manager. Doctor Joseph Kalanzi is the team’s physician. The other teams that will participate are South Africa, Tunisia, Kenya, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
