Uganda’s self proclaimed King of Kick boxing Moses Golola has hinted at a possible fight with rival Titus Tugume but admits that it can only happen if a good promoter for the fight is present.
“If he (Tugume) wants to fight me, I have no problem”, the mortar mouthed Golola told Radio City in a phone interview on Thursday.
“I respect Tugume. He is a good kick boxer but will teach him a lesson if the fight is organised”, Golola, the man largely credited for turning a little-known sport into a box office however stated that he gives Tugume and team to organise that fight immediately one month after his non title fight with Hungarian Betyar Istavan has been scheduled for April 19 at Kyadondo grounds.
“The fight must be organised one month after the Istavan fight or else it may not happen”, he stated.
It should be noted that Golola has shunned fighting Ugandan kick boxers for a long time referring to them as amateurs below his level. However, Tugume has already showed interest in fighting Golola immediately after his win over Szabo last month.
“Am very happy for this victory, it gives me the courage to fight Moses Golola in June”, he told Kawowo Sports. It remains to be seen whether the fight will take place but it will be every one’s dream. We shall keep you posted as usual.
