Scrap yard and Game City Pool Clubs continued their dominance in the National Nile Special Pool league.

The two clubs are currently glued on the summit of the pool league with 14 points apiece after 4 games (Scrap Yard has a superior goal difference of 32 compared to Game City’s 12).

League debutants, Game City once again announced their arrival on the national pool scene with two resounding victories over Boat and Casablanca clubs over the weekend. Game City recorded a 12-8 win over Boat on Saturday before capping it with another away 11-9 victory over Casablanca on Sunday. While leaders Scrap Yard demolished Nakawa Club 15-5 on Sunday.

Defending Champions Skin Samona paid up for their opening week’s poor form with two vital wins but these victories were not good enough to elevate them from their current 7th position.

Samona humiliated Transformer 14-6 at their Pacify Motel home before registering 09-11away win over Spice Pool Club. In a rare occurrence of events, Rock Catalina Club drew 10 all with Nakawa in a thrilling battle held on Saturday.

Kyadalu and Casablanca remain the only two teams without any victories on the 16 team log, whose champion is rewarded glittering trophies, medals and cash prizes.

Meanwhile the ladies and National league one league has been scheduled to start this coming weekend with several clubs confirming registration. The clubs are:

Hotpool, BigSpenders, CIK Busunju, Club 5 Mubende,Global Com, Indigo, Lilians Jinja, Lubiri Pub, MayFair, Q.P.A, Ronz Pub, Rotex, Spice Academy, Sports Club Jinja and Trust & Obey Jinja.
