The long awaited kickboxing bout between self proclaimed king of Uganda’s kickboxing Moses Golola and reigning national champion Titus Tugume has finally been confirmed on June 28.
According to the fight promoter Hakim Ssembatya, the fight is already sanctioned by the kickboxing federation and agreed upon by both camps of fighters and will take place at Kyadondo rugby grounds.
Nevertheless, the fighters are yet to sign contracts confirming so but its expected to happen later this week.
“The fighters are set to sign the contract confirming their acceptance not later than this week”, said fight promoter Hakim Ssembatya.
“What remains is alerting the police but the federation has already sanctioned the fight”, he added.
Though it appears as a fight meant to determine who is supreme of the two, the winner of the fight will grab the national and East and Central Africa title respectively.
At the moment, Tugume holds the former while Golola holds the latter.
Both fighters will come into this fight on the back of wins after Golola beat Hungarian Betyar Istavan while Tugume beat Sandor Szabo.
