As the National Handball league resumes on Saturday at Kyambogo University, Police Spears will play their hearts out to avoid defeat at the hands of on form Prison Spears.
Kifaru will look to picking up more points this weekend after a suprise win picked up against Ever Green last weekend. Both teams have no injury worries though Kifaru is affected by students going for hoildays as most of them come from upcountry.
In the other men’s game, Ever Green will look to recover from last weekend’s loss to Kifaru as they take on Police Metro. A win for either team will surely mean a lot in terms of brightening their chances in the title hunt.
In the women’s category, all the teams are fired up as look to taking down the defending champions Prison Lady Spears. The champions haven’t really found last season’s rhythm as they have struggled to win their games this season. UPDF on the other hand are coming all out this weekend to prove a point as they try to retain the championship they won in 2011. Its surely going to be a battle of the forces and usually where these 2 teams meet, only the grass suffers.
The other game in the ladies category will have Police Lady Metro taking on Ever Green. Anyone would bet on Police taking all points given their quality and depth in their squad and Ever Green’s performance last season but this 2013; Ever Green seem to have gone back to the drawing board and realized their mistakes. A win picked 2 weeks ago against Ndejje University really inspired the team and game will be on come this weekend.
