The Uganda National Volleyball team departs this Sunday for Rwanda for the Federation of International Volleyball Zone V World Championship qualifiers that commence on Monday through to the opening two days of the month of December.
The team was officially flagged off on Friday at the National Council of Sports offices by the Jasper Aligawesa. “Everything is in place, we expect to travel by road to Kigali and the boy’s preparations have been great so far, so we should hope for positive results”, team manager, Charles Kamavi, spoke to Kawowo Sports shortly after the ceremonial flag off event.
Uganda will face Egypt, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi with the top two teams advancing to the final qualification round. The finals will be hosted by Poland next year.
