The old season is over in comes a new golfing season at East Africa’s oldest club, Entebbe Golf Club, has lined up twenty events for this year that will see them host the first major tournament the Entebbe Ladies Open due in March.
“The season swings into action with our first event being the Orange/Castle Lite monthly Mug that gets underway this Saturday,” Innocent Kihika, the chairman of the club said. “Last year was a great season for the club hosting the Tusker Malt Uganda Open and Uganda Ladies Open it won’t be any different as we shall have another hectic calendar.”
The Major events on the Entebbe club calendar include Entebbe Ladies Open, which is a Uganda Ladies Golf Union event others scheduled for the year include Dasani Golf Series, JBG Golf tournament, Bro Group golf tournament, Captain’s Putter, Chairman’s Cup, Entebbe Open and Rwenzori Cup together with Nkata Golf Memorial and the grand Mug of Mugs.
