Thrilling sights of mesmerizing jumps performed over a stretch of up to 150 feet in the air with a combination of suspence, danger and the unknown return to Busiika on 23rd February, an event that will get the 2014 Motocross season underway.
According to Speedway Motorsports Club’s Arthur Blick Junior, five Ugandan daredevil riders will this time round feature in the high-adrenaline sport of freestyle following intensive drills South African back-flip master Nick-De-Wit offered them.
“We have Ugandans who have been training freestyle riding; they are very few and were selected by Nick-De-Wit to do the training.
“They have had a bit of it and they will display some of the stunts they have learnt in this short period of time,” he told Kawowo Sports.
40 other riders who will be competing in National Motocross Championships on the same day are set to have a feel of the new track at Busiika thanks to its upgrade to suit international standards.
Alistair Blick, Ali Omar, Paddy Blick, Asaf Natan, Maxime Van Pee and Barak Orland are expected to battle in the various MX classes.
