KAMPALA.Trust High School and KAVC made history by winning the first edition of Joan Cox Memorial tournament. Both sides will find opposition from the increasing number of participants at the second this weekend at Gayaza High School main campus.
For Trust High School, they have something to smile about, the side hasn’t lost a game at the Ann Cutler ground since 2012. Kyebambe Girls School, Nabisusa Girls School, Kawempe Muslim School, St Joseph’s Nsambya Kinaawa High School, Kinaawa High School Mugongo are some of the schools supposed to challenge Trust High.
The clubs edition will see new comers Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC), and Espoir trying to find their feet. The former already has silverware to show off after lifting the Makerere Open Championship last weekend.
KAVC, KCCA, Nemostars, Sport-S, UCU Lady Doves, Nkumba, Ndejje Elites, Cobap and Mulago are some of the teams expected to make an appearance. KAVC won the 1st edition after defeating KCCA in the finals, KCCA.
