The second round of the 2014 Motocross championships will get underway this Sunday, 16th March at the refurbished Garuga Motocross Arena.

Several riders are set to compete, Maxim Van Pee returning from his academic studies in Holland buoyed up, thanks to his first round victory last month at Busiika.

10 time motocross champion Arthur Blick Junior who was second in the 1st round also returns, respectful of Van Pee’s challenge, alongside other MX1 class counterparts.

“We have very many upgrades from one class to another,” Arthur said. “So I think that this round is going to be very highly competitive.”

Talha Kiggundu takes on sibling, ‘King of MX2’, Fatu Kiggundu who is confident that he will reach top form this time round.

“I think at this time, I will back on my real form,” he said.

Ali Omar, Alistair Blick, British born Gordon Josiah and 2 time champion Fortune Ssentamu will also battle in the 85cc category.

Italian born Female Motocross rider, Carlota Morater is also set to entertain Motocross fans, participating for the first time.
