The inaugural rugby Protector Super Series will resume this Saturday, 29th March at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, as the various franchises battle in game 3 and game 4 of the competition.
Coach Sam Ahamya’s Fimbo franchise which lost their first game to Crocs 34-28 will return to action, against Coach Brian Tindimweba’s Magicians franchise that also lost their first game to Protectors 22-9.
Crocs Coach, Allan Musoke and Protector’s Robert Seguya will seek second victories each, when they face off later in the last fixture, an opportunity for Allan Musoke to make a brilliant start to his coaching career.
The Protector rugby Super Series were launched last week, the Uganda Rugby Union introducing them as platform to raise the local player base standard and to serve as a selection mechanism for best teams to represent Uganda at the upcoming East Africa Rugby Super Series.
The franchises are four, namely Crocs made up of league sides Kobs, Warriors and Impis. Fimbo are made of Pirates and Rhinos, Protectors comprise of Heathens and Buffaloes, while Magicians combine Mongers, Stallions,Heathens and Buffaloes.
