FUFA Super league defending champions, KCC football club stretched their leadership at the summit of the 16 team log with a home 4-0 win against nemesis, Proline FC in the FUFA Super League match played at KCCA stadium in Lugogo on Friday.

Ivan Ntege, who did not play any single minute in the club’s 3-2 defeat to Express on Tuesday, notched a brace before Tony Odur and Ghadafi Kiwanuka scored one a piece.

George Nsimbe’s side now leads the log with 52 points (from 26 games) while the loss further condemned Proline to the murky waters of a possible relegation.

Sports club Victoria University (SCVU) were held to a goal less home draw by army side, Simba at Mandela National stadium, Namboole. The game was however marred by another heart breaking injury to SCVU’s striker, Simon Okwi following a dangerous Patrick Edema tackle.

SCVU goes to 50 points (from 27 games).

In Mbale, URA FC remained in third position after humiliating CRO 4-0 at the Mbale Municipal Stadium. Striker, Robert Ssentongo netted a double while a rare Musa Docca strike and Feni Ali completed the rout for the tax collectors who now rise to 46 points.

The loss for CRO means that the Mbale based side officially becomes the first team in the league to the relegated to the FUFA big league.

Elsewhere Express FC edged Bright Stars 1-0 at Wankulukuku with Julius Ogwang scoring just three minutes to half time.

At Nakivubo stadium SC Villa drew -2 with Vipers FC. Miya Farouk and Joseph Mpande scored for Vipers while Karim Ndugwa and Emanayo Victor got their names on the score sheet for the Jogoos.

In Kavumba, home team Police won 3-2 against Entebbe FC. Nyanzi Ronald netted a double while Kawooya Frank got the other. Veteran striker Kinene Yusuf scored twice for Entebbe.

The league resumes on Tuesday with week 29 games at different stadia.
