When Ndejje Sharks take on Sport-S in the NSSF Volleyball League this Wednesday with one aim, to continue their winning spree. Ndejje has won twice in two outings compared to their opponents who have managed one win in the same.

“Sport-S is a title contender but we have had a good start to the season, and we want to build on that to make the playoffs this season,” Ndejje captain Jacob Olila told kawowo.com. “I believe we are ready, the time we have been together has made us a team and it’s not all about individuals,” he added.

Ndejje take on a Sport-S side that is desperate to get back to the top but haven’t won a game in the indoor since 2012 in their Game two league semifinal against Nemostars. They have also been let down by injuries of senior players, Ivan Ongom and Dickens Otim. “

We have had a poor start but trust me, it is temporary,” said Sport-S captain Andrew Wandera. Ndejje can’t be underestimated and we will approach them with respect but with a game plan to take home maximum points,” he added.

Sport-S coach Mugisha Benon added: “Ndejje is unbeaten but that doesn’t count if they are playing against us.” Sport-S will also hope to use the indoor to their advantage sine Ndejje are going to be playing there for the first time.
