NSSF Volleyball League women holders Ndejje Elites continued with their fairytale run when again Winnie Nakabuubi inspired the side past former champions Nkumba 3-1. In a game that senior Maureen Mwamula had a quite night for Ndejje, Saidat Nnungi, Margaret Namyalo and Christine Alupo ensured that the Luwero side win their third game of the season.

It looked like it for Nkumba win, brutally claiming the first set, 25-12, Ndejje leveled matter 25-18, and hard to fight for the third, it was decided on deuce and eventually Ndejje took the lead 25-25 and later won the third 25-18. It was Ndejje’s second big win since defeating Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) 3-2 in their opening league game.

Nkumba missed coach Tonny Lakony who is away on official duty, as stand in coach Godwin Senyondo could do little to stop the determined Ndejje. Ndejje followed that up with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-18) win over KAVC Veterans on Sunday at the Mubs grounds in Nakawa.
