Kyambogo Tag team was crowned 2014 Tag Rugby Center champions after beating Jinja Police Teargas 13-8 in a final match played at Kyadondo Rugby club grounds over the weekend.

The main cup Championship that attracted all the 24 tag centers in Uganda also saw Kyadondo thump Busiita 9-4 in 3rd place playoffs, whereas, Ntinda beat Mulago 5-4 to emerge winners of the Deaf center’s category.

Aaron Tukei from Kyambogo Centre and Rita Musamali (Jinja Police Centre) were awarded most valuable player’s prizes for the boys’ and girls’ wings respectively.

Kyambogo, Walukuba and Whales Centers were selected to be the top tag centers of the year.
