Nile Special National Pool Regional Qualifiers:
Northern Uganda:
Oasis Inn – Arua (Fri, 27th June 2014)
Hawai Spot – Lira (Sat, 28th June 2014)
Amigos Pub – Gulu (Sat, 28th June 2014)
The National Pool open championships, dubbed ‘Nile Special pool national open’ will take center stage in Northern Uganda this weekend.
“9 players will qualify from Northern Uganda to join those who have already qualified”, Michael Mawanda, Pool Association of Uganda Publicist tells Kawowo Sports.
There will be action on Friday in Arua at Oasis Inn before focus turns to Lira (Hawai Pub) and Amigos pub in Gulu district.
National championship finals:
120 Players are targeted from the regional qualifiers that cut across the different corners of the country.
These will be joined by the country’s top 8 seeded players at the national finals.
Finals of this year, like last year’s event will be held at Lugogo Indoor Stadium on September 6th 2014.
The winner will drive home a brand new Toyota Brevis on top of a pool table and Ug.shs 2M.
