Reports: Bright Anukani joins Entebbe UPPC

Exciting midfielder Bright Anukani has reportedly completed a transfer to Entebbe UPPC, signing a two-year contract with the club.

Kawowo Sports understands that Anukani opted for the Entebbe-based side following an unsettling spell with KCCA FC.

A primary factor in his decision was the opportunity to reunite with his former head coach, Abdallah Mubiru, under whose guidance he aims to revitalise his career.

The highly sought-after playmaker attracted widespread interest across the Uganda Premier League, with Express FC, URA FC, and BUL FC all vying for his signature.

Rwandan outfit AS Kigali also presented a formal offer, a one-year deal with an option to extend, but Anukani ultimately chose to commit his immediate future to UPPC.

Anukani joins a UPPC side that has enjoyed a respectable start to the campaign, collecting seven points from their opening four matches (two wins, one draw, and one defeat).
