2015 CAF U-17 QUALIFIERS:
Rwanda Wasps Vs Uganda Cubs
Fri, 1st August 2014
At Umuganda Stadium (Artifical Turf).
In Kabavu
Kick – off: 3 pm (Rwandan Time, 4 pm in Uganda)
Uganda Cubs head coach, Matia Lule believes Rwanda has played enough shoddy games to frustrate his charges but believes he will have the broadest smile at the end of the day.
“Rwanda delayed to communicate the match venue and had to change the date of the game at the last hour but we are ready for anything”, Lule, whose team reached Kigali on Wednesday told Kawowo Sports.
Lule also complained of the unfair treatment by the hosts to pick them as the team arrived but echoes that is making his team stronger.
“When we reached, we spent like an hour without seeing any member from the hosting Federation but we came prepared for all this”, he added.
The cubs, who carry a 4 – 0 goal margin from first leg played in Kampala had a stop over in Kabale before reaching Kigali where they held a light training session at the Amahoro stadium (outside artifical turf).
They are accommodated at Impala Hotel in Kigali and will transfer to Peaceland Hotel in Gashenyi on Thursday.
Gashenyi is 150 km away from the capital, Kigali.
