The Group E Africa Cup of Nations – Morocco 2015 qualifier between Guinea and Togo will be played at the Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.

The development follows a confirmation by Confederation of African Football (CAF) after the Ebola outbreak in Guinea and most Western African countries.

Earlier, Togolese Football Association (TFF) request to CAF about the need to take preventive measures to avoid mass rally which could facilitate the spread of the lethal Ebola virus with in Guinea where the match was supposed to be played.

“The Federation Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF) in agreement with the authorities of the Kingdom of Morocco has agreed to host their Guinea counterparts on their territory”, statement on cafonline reads.

Relatedly, Guinea‘s U17 team is set to play Togo on 29th September in the 2015 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers.

Guinea and Togo are in Group E alongside Uganda and Ghana. It remains to be known whether Uganda’s away fixtures in West Africa will all be staged at their respective venues.

Uganda Cranes play Ghana on 6th September at Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi city.
