There is definitely going to be a new champion for the Pool Queen championship as defending champion, Carol ‘Sugar Carol’ Kanzira has not even lasted past the opening round of games.

Kanzira won the game to force a decider that she lost. Her loss was greeted with wild cheers across the Lumas pool arena.

Two time winner, Jacenta Kajubi, winner in 2011 and 2012 opened her account strongly winning 3 – 0 over Eve Nabakooza.
