The Uganda rugby cranes sevens team kicked off the Safari Sevens tournament with a 19-7 loss to formidable Argentina on Saturday at Safaricom Stadium, Kasarani in Kenya.
A try by Micheal Wokorach, converted by Phillip Wokorach was all the Cranes could manage, succumbing to disappointment following fairly successful Glasgow Commonwealth games.
Unlike then, when the outfit lost 32-00 to Canada, failing to make the finals of the bowl competition in march, this Cranes squad witnessed changes to accommodate four new faces in Keith Seruyange, James Musiitwa, James Odongo and Solomon Okia.

Jasper Ocen and Lawrence Sebuliba were left out of the side that traveled to Kenya while Benon Kiza and Phillip Pariyo decided to remain and reside in Scotland after the Commonwealth games.
Cranes seek their maiden victory when they proceed to take on Western province at 1430 hours and later on Suzuki Wailers at 1803 hours.
