How fast trends move!
Despite a promising start to the 2014/15 season, 5 time record senior pool league winners and current table leaders, Skin Samona have not won a game in three fixtures played.

Having lost away 8-12 to Takers, Samona drew 10 all to Jinja’s Trust and Obey before being held to another draw by Spice Pool Club at their own dreaded home, at Pacify Pool Arena in Wakaliga over the weekend.

In the weekend fixture, the hosts started with a 4-1 win in the first set of five frames but the Spice made amends to level the proceedings 5 all.

Reigning, national open champion Fahad Sewankambo saved his side to get a point after winning spice best player Patrick Mujuzi.

Despite the spill up, Skin Samona remained on top after their opponents in the second position failed to win their three matches.

Gals pool club are in the second position, having drawn against Jonah Turigye’s Scrap Yard 10-10 and lost to Ntinda giants, Rock Catalina 11-9, spurred by their inspirational captain, Oscar Ocacakon.

Gals won capital night 11-9 yesterday to maintain their second position with 49 points just 8 points behind Skin Samona who have 57 points.

“The second round of the senior pool league started with Skin Samona having 12 points difference, this predicts a tight competition in the second round”, Pool Association of Uganda Publicity Secretary, Michael Mawanda told Kawowo Sports.

Pool League One:

Now the race for promotion remains between 4 clubs including Indigo who made a draw with Boat, Icon Pool Club Nansana who got a walkover on Jinja side Rons Pool Club, Red Shooten Masindi and Maga.
