While we were sure that the Castle Lite Playoffs would be played at the MTN Arena in Lugogo following the TV deal, the indoor stadium will for the first time this season host the Airtel National Basketball League games.

The biggest local basketball fixture of the recent times will be played at the indoor facility as the YMCA outdoor facility will not be available on Friday and Saturday.

The regular season second round game between Tiger Head Power and Riham Warriors will be played at the Lugogo Arena on Saturday, November 1 at 8:30pm. The match-up will also be the final game of the normal season for both teams.

Power and Warriors will be fighting for second seed in the regular season depending on the outcome of another heavy weight game between Power and Falcons on Thursday night.

Warriors had their first century of the season against Power in the 102-92 win back in July and Power will also be looking to avenge when the rivals meet again. Warriors have been in terrific form through the second round dropping just a single game and their opponents haven’t been out of shape either.

The other game of the evening will be between Sharing Youths and relegated Diamonds in the Sun which will tip-off at 6:30pm.

Six lower division games will be played at the facility as well.
