The ‘Orange’ got their reward in the 62nd minute when Musisi’s would be cross ended in the net.

The left fullback started the move inside his own half and his inter-play with Mike Sserumaga saw him leave KCC FC skipper Sakka Mpiima on the floor before crossing the ball with Yasin Mugabi at fault as he failed to tip the ball over the bar.

This prompted Mubiru to introduce brace hero against Soana FC Michael Birungi for Derrick Nsibambi but the Hamza Kalanzi coached side held on for only their 4th victory of the campaign.

REACTIONS:
Hamza Kalanzi – Lweza Stand In Coach
“The boys played as instructed. We knew playing against an experienced side like KCC FC would give us space as they don’t press. They did the pressing so well and in the end, it paid off. We didn’t win this game today but a few days ago. Hopefully, it kick starts our campaign.

Abdallah Mubiru – KCC FC Coach
“We fluffed our chances and we paid the price. We failed to put our game plan on the pitch but this is a marathon. It’s a disappointing result but we have to lift our heads in time for the next game.
