Azam FC (Tanzania) 2-2 KCCA (Uganda)

Ugandan champions KCC FC and Tanzania Vodacom Premier League champions Azam settled for a 2-2 draw in their opening match of the 2015 Mapinduzi Peace Cup.

Azam Captain John Rafael Bocco put the side ahead in the 33rd minute before William Wadri made it 1-1 four minutes after half time.

Salum Abubaker made it 2-1 for the Bakhresa sponsored club in the 53rd minute but Tom Masiko put KCC FC on level terms again with a quarter of an hour to play.

In other group B tie, Zanzibar side Mtende and KMKM also shared spoils with a barren draw.

KCC FC’s next game is on Sunday against Mtende FC.
