Sunday January 25, Estadio de Ebebyin Kick Off: 9pm (Ugandan Time)

French coach Claude LeRoy’s Congo Brazzaville take on Burkina Faso in their penultimate match of group A in the 2015 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers targeting a seventh appearances in the last eight of the competition.

LeRoy whose side needs a draw to advance has guided teams to the quarters on six occasions failing only once in the last edition with DR Congo.

Congo sit top of the group with four points from two fixtures after drawing 1-1 with hosts Equatorial Guinea before winning 1-0 against much fancied Gabon.

For Burkina Faso, only victory will do as they sit bottom of the group with one point with a loss and draw from their opening two games.

The Stallions under Paul Put remain the only side yet to score in the tournament despite a wealth of attacking talent in their squad that has among others Jonathan Pitroipa, Alain Traore and Aristide Bance.

This will be the first meeting between the two sides at AFCON but have won three each in the previous six.

Congo’s progress to the last eight came in 1992 while Burkina Faso are looking to make it two progressions in a row for the first time.
