For his never ending comical statements and lively charming persona, Kick boxer, Moses ‘Of Uganda’ Golola has been named the official Airtel Africa Fest Ambassodor during a special unveiling at the Mackinon Suites on Monday, Airtel Uganda.
Golola joins elite athletes; Stephen Kiprotich, Moses Kipsiro and Kenyan runners Wilson Kipsang and Edna Kiplagat who were named ambassadors for the same cause last year.
He will also be one of the participants in the inaugural Airtel Afrika Mashariki Fest (AMF) half marathon.
In his customary vibe, Golola excited the conference with his statements;
“I am Golola Moses of Uganda. A miracle is about to happen in Uganda. All of you here are about to become champions because you are with the champion, Moses Golola,” he remarked amidst deafening applause.
Africa Marishaka Fest is an independent youth platform that operates in east Africa to fast track regional integration through art, sports and civil society advocacy.
Airtel Marketing Director Prasoon Lal committed Airtel Uganda Limited’s full backing at the event.
Each participant will have to pay 10.000 for registration at the points yet to be communicated,
Event organiser Ronex Kisembo added.
