Undefeated Super Featherweight Ismail “Sharp Shooter” Muwendo, will clash with American Rolando Chinea, in a 8 round non-title fight at the University of Texas, Arlington, Texas, USA on 18 April 2015.
Muwendo, who is the only Ugandan prize fighter in the United States with an unbeaten record will be mounting the ring for the first time this year as he seeks to defeat his undefeated opponent Chinea, who is is 10-0-1(6 KOS) while the Minnesota based Ugandan fighter is 16-0-0(12 KOs).
The two fighters will be a support fight for the Main Event that will see Undefeated Terence “Bud” Crawford taking on Thomas “Thunder” Dulorme for the vacant WBO jr welterweight title and will been shown on HBO Boxing After Dark.
The main event is promoted by Top Rank Promotions in association with Gary Shaw Productions. Crawford has been training alongside Muwendo ahead of this fight.
