Junior welterweight Sharif “Lion” Bogere, is in fighting mood and bullish ahead of his show down with tough opponent Mike Perez on July 11 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in a world title eliminator that will be televised in a HBO Latino televised fight.

“The Lion is ready to rip through anybody who stands in my way,” Bogere said in a Youtube interview. “It’s a normal fight for me and I ready to take him out in this fight am very hungry.”

Bogere is on a winning streak that has seen him four wins in a row ever since losing to Cuban Richar Abril, in a WBA world lightweight title fight in 2013.

The Uganda boxer, who fights out of Las Vegas, Nevada is 27-1,(19 KOs) while Puerto Rican is 22-1,(10 KOs) going into this cofeature that is being promoted by Golden Boy Promotions.

In the previously announced 10-round main event, junior welterweight contender Mauricio Herrera (21-5, 7 KOs) will face “Hammerin’” Hank Lundy (25-4-1, 12 KOs) in what appears to be a toss-up fight.
