Following the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA)’s last minute communication about the change in referees for the KCC-SC Villa final replay at Namboole, the appointed FIFA referees are in the country.

Oliver Omondi Odhiambo, who will be the center referee arrived with Andrew Juma Otieno aboard Kenyan Airways on flight KQ 418, early Tuesday Morning. The third official, Tony Mudayi Kidiya was due to arrive by road from Busia, Kenya.

The three will be assisted by Alex Muhabi from Uganda, who had been earlier appointed to handle the final with Hussein Bugembe (first assistant), Ronald Katenya (second assistant) and Joseph Ochom (fourth official).

There will be a pre-match meeting on Tuesday morning at 9AM in Namboole and the security meeting in the afternoon at CPS boardroom later at 2PM.

Odhiambo Oliver Omondi (Center Referee for the day) attained his FIFA Badge a year ago. He has previously handled KCC at the Kagame Cup in Rwanda in 2014. Harunah Mawanda will be the match assessor while the FUFA second vice president, Darious Mugoye shall be the match commissioner.

The aborted match 10 days ago was handled by FUFA referee, Robert Donney, whose final match report has left everyone amazed with three more red cards indicated on top of the publicly shown red card to Hakim Ssenkumba.
