Uganda Rugby Cranes coach John Duncan has highlighted the importance of discipline among the national team players ahead of the Africa Rugby tier 1B tournament on Sunday.
Duncan warned the squad he announced on Tuesday, of indiscipline adding that the players needed to focus on winning the winning the Africa Rugby Cup.
“Our discipline off pitch has a big impact on our performance and we must think twice on everything we do,” Duncan told local media.
“As a team we have to sacrifice some things and concentrate on achieving our dream,” he added.
Duncan named a 24-man squad that will face pool B opponents Ivory Coast on Sunday 5th, Botswana on Wednesday 8th and Mauritius on Saturday 11th.
The side with the greatest points will earn promotion to tier 1A while the one with the least points will be relegated to tier 1C.
The Rugby Cranes will enter residential training on Thursday at Silver Springs Hotel, Bugolobi.
